Input Distribution

In a dedicated initiative to support tribal farmers in identified aspirational village of West Khasi Hills,(Village Langlongdai ) South Garo Hills(Village Jetra and Maheshkola) of Meghalaya and West Sikkim district(Village Mabong) of Sikkim, a comprehensive distribution program was implemented. Critical agricultural input, including quality maize seed, healthy rhizome of turmeric, healthy tubers of potato, and healthy tomato seeds, were provided to empower farmers. The distribution also included biopesticides to enhance pest management practices in both regions. Prioritizing soil health, enriched compost was distributed to promote sustainable and organic farming methods. Additionally, agricultural efficiency was boosted through the provision of spray machines, insect traps, and banners for packaging. Biofertilizers were also distributed to aid nutrient management. This holistic effort aimed to empower tribal farmers with the necessary resources for resilient and sustainable agricultural practices.
